52nd Annual QUESNEL RODEO
Quesnel, B.C. July 14, 15 & 16, 2017


Friday July 14, 2017 – Rodeo performance starts at 6:45pm. This rodeo performance is in support of Breast Cancer Victims and Families. In support of breast cancer victims and their families, spectators and contestants are encouraged to wear pink.
  5:00 pm: Rodeo Grandstand gates open.
  5:00 pm: Dust & Suds (Beer Garden)* opens – Located directly north of the Rodeo Grandstands.
  6:45 pm: Rodeo starts with Grand Entry.
 
Saturday July 15, 2017 – Rodeo performance starts at 1:00 pm. This rodeo performance is dedicated to “Concussion Awareness” initiatives which promote a greater awareness of brain injuries. These initiatives will help rodeo athletes and their families gain knowledge about the signs and symptoms of concussion and appropriate management and treatment.
  12 Noon: Rodeo Grandstand gates open.
  12 Noon: Dust & Suds (Beer Garden)* opens – Located directly north of the Rodeo Grandstands.
  1:00 pm: Rodeo starts with Grand Entry.
  4:00 pm: Save on Foods Steak House opens, directly following the rodeo. This is a fund raiser for BC Children’s
Hospital. Have a great steak dinner while supporting an even greater cause. Look for the Save on Foods
Steakhouse (tent) conveniently located just outside the rodeo grandstand’s main entrance gate. Darrell Jones, President of Save-On-Foods will be our special guest and grill master. Come by and say hi to Darrell, have a steak and support B.C. Children’s Hospital.
  9:00 pm: The Alberta Premium Whiskey Rodeo Barn Dance*, with Trick Ryder. Admission to the dance is by advance purchase ticket purchase only. Tickets for this popular dance will be available for “in person” purchases starting at 9:00 am, July 3rd at Circle “S” Western Wear, 323 Reid Street, Quesnel, B.C. Telephone 250-992-2811. Any remaining tickets will be offered for sale during the rodeo at the Quesnel Rodeo Club Office, Alex Fraser Park. For prices and further information on the Rodeo Dance, PLEASE CLICK HERE.
  Cowboy Breakfast, Saturday July 15th 7AM to 10AM
Breakfast is served at the rodeo grounds. Enjoy a great cowboy breakfast, while watching our rodeo’s slack performance. No admission charged for our slack performance.
 
Sunday July 16, 2017 – Rodeo performance starts at 1:00 pm. This rodeo performance is in support of Military, RCMP & Emergency Services.
  12 Noon: Rodeo Grandstand gates open.
  12 Noon: Dust & Suds (Beer Garden)* opens – Located directly north of the Rodeo Grandstands.
  1:00pm: Rodeo starts with Grand Entry.
   
  * Admission to Dust & Suds Saloon and the Alberta Premium Barn Dance is restricted to 19+ years of age. Anyone wishing to enter these premises must have personal identification which is accepted by the British Columbia Liquor Board. The Quesnel Rodeo Club and its members, or their agents have discretion with respect to anyone who looks under the age of 90 years.
